Citizen Collectors is currently on at
Newcastle Regional Art Gallery. This terrific show is the result of a group of friends banding together to purchase contemporary art from the first part of the 21st century. Just some of the artists include
Joachim Froese, Shaun Gladwell, James Angus, Adam Cullen,
Destiny Deacon, Lucas Grogan, Newell Harry and Callum Morton. Also showing at the gallery is Laverty 2, which is not only beautiful and thought provoking, but also expertly lit to bring out depth and emotion. Both shows are well worth repeat visits.
